Justin Butterworth is Technical Director at ORBNET Systems, where he leads the technical strategy, development and integration of software designed to extend the capabilities of Milestone XProtect. With extensive experience across video surveillance, security integrations and complex enterprise deployments, Justin has worked with everything from cameras, access control and alarm systems through to video streaming, metadata, drones and custom integrations. At ORBNET, he focuses on turning awkward real-world requirements into practical solutions, working closely with customers, technology partners and the development team to bridge the gap between traditional physical security systems and newer technologies. His particular interests include video streaming, Milestone integrations, system architecture, automation and finding slightly unconventional ways of making different technologies work together.
