Provide location data
A vehicle, GPS device, camera, tracker or telematics platform supplies its current location and tracked-object identity.
ORBNET Live Maps brings cameras, alarms, tracked objects, GPS metadata and operational events into an interactive map-based view, helping control rooms understand what is happening, where it is happening and how to respond.
Built for live security operations
Bring cameras, alarms, events and location data into map-based XProtect workflows.
Use location metadata from supported ONVIF sources to place moving assets on the map.
Connect external systems, assets, vehicles, people, drones or third-party data sources.
Monitor live movement, asset positions and operational activity as it happens.
Review movement history to support investigations, route analysis and incident review.
Visualise alarms, incidents and events on the map to help operators understand where action is needed.
Moving vehicle tracking
Use ORBNET Live Maps to receive changing vehicle coordinates and display their positions directly inside Milestone XProtect Smart Client.
Location data can be received from supported ONVIF GPS metadata or from a telematics platform, tracking system or third-party application connected through the Live Maps REST API. Live Maps associates the incoming data with a vehicle or tracked object and updates its position as new coordinates arrive.
A vehicle, GPS device, camera, tracker or telematics platform supplies its current location and tracked-object identity.
Send the coordinates to Live Maps using supported ONVIF GPS metadata or an integration built with the Live Maps REST API.
Live Maps places the vehicle on the operational map and updates its marker whenever new location data is received.
Operators can use the vehicle marker alongside related cameras, alarms, device information and historical movement data.
Location-data requirement: Live Maps visualises coordinates supplied by a device or integrated system. It does not infer a vehicle’s GPS position from video alone.
